9:30 AM: My day started up pretty badly. My grandma woke me up at the wrong time (while I was sleeping) and she said she would make lunch at 1 pm w/o any negoiation (typical).
I took a shower and then I started to spend some time on the intrawebz for directions and stuff. And then when I realized how far it was I really couldn't wait for the lunch, so I decided to leave earlier without anything to eat (;_;).
1:30 PM: I wasn't paying attention and I missed the stop at the Church. ._. It only took a measly fifteen minutes to get there and it killed off some time before the church opened.
1:50 PM: The church was already open and I went in. Good space and it was easy to navigate around overall (unlike Mass Madness D:). The only person I knew that was around was Roy but I knew Mardo and Hannie (if he isn't late) were coming to the tourney. Mike was in this tight situation so I was assuming he wouldn't come until a while.
I did friendlies for quite a bit. First one was this Fox who kept spamming smashes and I somehow let him get away with that for one stock. My combos were off too for some reason but it got back to me later on.
Roy and I did some Peach vs. Pit stuff. Close matches although I got most of them I think. I may post them later but eh.
Those Doubles friendlies were funny and watching those nearly secured the thought that this tournament wasn't going to be hard to win. I watch them and I realize how incredibly bad they are. Ike kept killing his ally, Marth doesn't really know how to play Marth other than spam smashes, Falco just sucked and the Lucario was average.
I decided to team up with the Marth since his teammate didn't want to play anymore. And lol, we utterly raped them. Marth somehow got some lulzy fully charged Shield-Breaker kills. I pretty much ninja'd them.
3:20 PM: Mike comes at this time I guess. He already signed up for Singles, we both needed to sign up for Doubles. They spelt my name wrong, they really messed up Mike's last name (Merfe? XD).
We thought we had this in the bag, until Matt (I think) message'd Mike that KoreanDJ was coming to this tourney.
And hell, we were screwed.
Matt said Green Ace and Fatal was here but considering how they aren't even close to the Winners or Losers Finals I guess that meant that they weren't there.

Practically everyone mind some people were really (insert age) - 13 year olds who weren't that good or people that just weren't that good. So the brackets were a breeze. Tidus is the exception because he got one of the worst seedings I have ever seen. He'll explain that to you I guess.
Not like these results matter anyways, it was basically one match (except for the Grand Finals) with practically no CPs avaliable. They had to save time and we could only get 2/3 matches with a few people (Why? Because we can).
Notable Matches (Not in any order):
Some Random Link (Link a hur hur) vs. Ether (Peach)
Notable because he was able to mindgame me into his bombs. Edge-hogs, turnips and Peach combos screwed him up.
He was about to go MK (D:) on me but then it ended up being a winner of one match so I got lucky (I guess?). You guys could never know, he could've been sandbagging.
Nito (Lucas) vs. Ether (Peach)
We did a 2/3 for this one. This was my "revenge" match for Tidus. Tidus said that he managed to get him at 100% at one stock so he guessed that I could beat him. Turns out I had more control over the match overall and managed to win the first and third match. Second match the PK Fire camping went really gay due to it being in FD D:

Honestly, at this point you should know that I'm really only going to use Peach.
First match I got two-stock pretty badly. Second match I somehow got him to one-stock. Match will be up later.
Mardo (Wario) vs. Ether
Why is his F-Smash so stupid? D: I also missed my grab release to U-Smash combo and I got wrecked for them. Although I did land a U-Smash on him without it so that didn't matter. And I don't like bike taunts so I basically Fair'd him to death. XD But he got like a WoP of Fairs so it was okay. :3
xROYx vs. Ether
Basically like friendlies only he won. :[
So I got fourth. Probably the second highest score I have ever made with Peach-only. But Super Mass Bros. definitely was the best representation of my skill.

Don't know the rest. Shouldn't really matter. This was Single Elimination but had 2/3 (3/5 for Grand Finals) so it was fine by me.
I guess I'll just post the more important matches.
Match One - Team Manly (Hannie/Jaab) vs. Ta Ta, Looks Like Rain (Ether/Mike)
Really funny, this was probably the only team that we thought were a threat to us on our side of the brackets and they happened to be at our first match.
It wasn't Banned from Gamestop hard since Jaab wasn't good to begin with (doesn't Bucket-cancel, doesn't Up-B out of my combos, .etc) and I have faced Hannie too many times I know how his playstyle works. Not exactly a easy match-up either though.
First match we lost, Mike got gimped too many times and I ended up getting U-Smashed by GaW in the end.
Second match Mike got gimped too much as well but I managed to get my awesome 2-on-1 powers going and I managed to beat them both.
Third match was ownage because Mike didn't get gimped as much.

Pat (or was it Xihyon?) basically made the matches funny so I kind of felt sorry that Mike was playing gay. But they were fine with it, I think.
Double Falcos are one hell of a team though. Pew pews everywhere.

The day ended pretty well. We had fun and although there were no prizes for second I was happy with getting second and doing decent against them.
If anything, I was tired as hell and I was up for a while getting those matches recorded and uploaded.

Guess It's time for my Synopsis.
1:30pm: So, I'm heading out for what I think is going to be 2 hours of driving, but find out it's only going to be 1. I party, because I now know I'll make it in time for singles.
2:55pm: I arrive at the tournament, and see Kevin finishing off some ROB in Dittos. At this point, I'm pretty sure we at least got doubles in the bag.
A few minutes later, we go off and play some doubles friendlies against some Lucario and... I honestly don't remember what the other kid was playing. We had our way with them, tbh.
After that, Hannie showed up. At about this time, we find out that KoreanDJ was here. All of a sudden, my dreams of pocketing $50 are crushed.
Around 4pm, the singles brackets are finally posted. I nearly break into tears upon viewing them. While there were about 20 or so kids under 12, and a shitload of other scrubs present, I'm placed in a Bracket with Nito first. If I win, I play KDJ. If I lose, I play Mardo, who's only in losers because KDJ beat him.
I play Nito, and I know he's a lucas main. First match, I go Metaknight. We're playing really even through the first stock and a half. Then, I suicide my last 2 stocks, and bam, I'm down 1-0.
Second match against Nito, the pressure was heavy. It was Peach Lucas on FD. This match was amazing. He took my first stock, but I was able to mount a serious comeback and get him to a point where I think he was at 40-60% on his last stock by the time I started mine.
Now, about halfway through the 2nd stock, I realize KDJ is standing behind me screaming SF4 memes and the such. This just seem to add to the already heavy mental fatigue I had going. A bunch of crazy shit happened in this match, and Nito game me props for a couple of my kills. However, I think the fact that everyone was rooting against me got to me, as I let him make the final comeback and take the game and set. This was a 5 mintue match, and because we were on Kevin's Wii, I saved the replay (please get this match on youtube btw). This started a conversation between Me, Nito, and KDJ about how to get the timer off replays with Homebrew.
Now, for my Loser's Bracket match, I was matched against Mardo. I really don't have much to say about these matches. He pretty much sandbagged me but the "lose-and-you're-out" pressure was really *bleep*ing with my head. I should have beat this kid, but I lost. And, just like that, my Singles Experience was over.
While I was waiting for Singles to finish up, I decided to relax and play some friendlies so as not to get too Rusty. The first Kid I played was TARM. I'm pretty sure his Lucario placed Top10 in singles. He was such a scrub, I 2 stocked him with ease. I just played it off by saying "I have a lot of Lucario exp."
After I thoroughly raped TARM, his doubles partner wanted to play me. He played Falco. Apparently, this kid thought he was hot shti or something. I went Metaknight and 2 stocked him too. Knowing they were going to be considered one of the better teams, I left those matches knowing we could make it to Finals of Doubles with a little luck.
After that, I played SEN's link. He placed Top10 as well, as far as I know. He was eliminated by Nito(who was sent to losers 2nd round by KDJ). I had already played MK and Peach in friendlies, so I figured I go Ness. I won that match too.
I tried to play a friendly against Pat's(i think) CF, but the Wii reset 3 secs into our match. I was using Ness for that match too.
That was all for friendlies, and I watched singles finish up and then got ready for doubles.
We got a bye first round so we watched Hannie's team play a 9 year old girl and her brother, in front of their mom. That was brutal lol.
Then, we were matched up with Team Manly (Hannie and I think his name was Jose). First match, I kept suiciding. We lost. Now, they thought the set was done, and we actually had to get the TO to tell them it was best of 3. Second match. I kept SDing again. On top of that, my MK was pretty much getting wrecked by Hannie's. I was very mad at myself when I saw Kevin was left in a 2 on 1. I knew I *bleep*ed up bad and ruined his chances to win. But then something amazing happened, as Kevin was able to get Hannie's Mk out fast. He was at 100% and the G&W he was playing was at like 70 i think, but I knew he had it. He won that match, and I confessed my love for him. Third match, I knew things would be different. I couldn't let Kevin down after his epic 2-on-1 win. I pretty much beat Hannie's MK this time around, and we cruised to the easy win I knew we were capable of if I didn't SD.
Next set was a blast. They played double Ness first and we raped them. It was a huge confidence boost, as I finally got to prey on the scrubs I knew were at this tourney. They then went Pit Ness and got *bleep*ed up again.
Now, the last set was a Double Falco team. These kids were hilarious, and the 4 of us basically went through every line of the funny brawl vids during the matches. First match, I SD'd a couple times and we lost (predictable). Second match, I SD'd my first life. I knew I had to change something or we'd lose. I wanted to win so bad, I started playing a really ghey MK. I'm pretty sure even though I SD'd my first stock when they were at 20%, They both hit their last stocks before I did. They had no answer for Tornado.
Now, at this point, one of them should have picked MK to match my tornados, but they didn't. I continued playing gay and we beat them easily.
As for our matches with KDJ and Nito, the vids say it all tbh. I had a blast those matches, and both KDJ and Nito are really cool guys. It would have been nice to take a game, but thats what happens when you play a pro.
After the matches, KDJ looked at us and said "Damn! You Guys play some really Gay Peaches!" We just laughed and said we knew.
Ether really was able to make a name for himself there. I, on the other hand, need to get over my nerves in singles. Still I met some really cool brawlers, and was able to play the best in the State. It was a great time, and I really hope they do a S.T.A.N.D. Up and Brawl 2 sometime soon.
So I got some vids of the offline friendlies between me and my friend Etherlight. This isn't the complete set yet, but we got the first 6 uploaded so far so figured I'd share.
You may notice I pretty much get raped. Etherlight is just that good
