Which DS should I buy?

I've been pondering on which of these to buy for a while now. My old DS has the calibration of a drunk, and has a peeled back, which really sucks. And its battery life is pretty much exhausted, so I think I need to head on.

The DSlite looks pretty good, as it has a longer battery life, less widgets, and just is awesome (I've played it before, it looks sleek).

The DSi has what the DS Lite has and more- a bigger screen, a camera, built in internet... But I want my console for gaming, and not something that is surpassed by my current Laptop.


I'm not sure if I should spend my money on the more modern DSi, or stick with the more game-esque DSlite. A new DS that's not the DSi?

That's right, Nintendo have already revealed the DSi LL- it looks set to feature even bigger screens (I can't imagine that without thinking of a laptop to be honest) and features that cater more to those "wanting to use the console as a internet and music device."
